The inaugural Creative Woman of the Year Award has been announced and we are proud to report that Ogilvy & Mather Group UK’s Chief Creative Officer, Emma de la Fosse, has won the title.

Emma’s win was announced at The Drum’s Dream Awards ceremony at The Emirates Stadium in London last night. The award celebrates the industry's leading female creative and is the brainchild of Creative Equals, a gender diversity ‘kitemark’ for the creative industry, and The Drum’s Dream Awards, which champions creative excellence.

Emma’s mantra ‘to make work that makes people do things’ is infectious. Driven by hands on creative leadership, she is one of the few UK female creatives. And the only one to have won 3 Cannes Lions in 2015 and two more in 2016 along with a D&AD pencil and a gold DMA.

Emma leads by example and does so with 370 creatives within the UKs largest integrated agency. With the launch of The Pipe, an ambitious creative internship programme, Emma hopes to re-populate the creative industry regardless of the applicant’s background.

All of this and more has contributed to Emma being named Creative Woman of the Year.
