More than 2.8 million Muslims currently reside in the UK. During the period of Ramadan, this group spend an estimated £100 million, on top of charitable donations equalling an additional £100 million. It is a month that changes the fabric of life in Muslim communities. But until now, no big agency has delved deeper and asked Muslims about their attitudes, actions and aspirations during this time.
At Ogilvy, we always aim to lead conversations about what matters most to our audiences. Since Ramadan is such an amazing event for so many Muslims in the UK and around the world, we wanted to provide an opportunity for this audience to share how they choose to spend these weeks, the habits they adopt and what Ramadan truly means to them.
So, for our latest study we are asking Muslims to share thoughts about Ramadan and be part of the conversation.
