Ogilvy & Mather London has appointed two new Creative Directors as it looks to expand its Creative Department following a recent string of new business wins.
Reporting into Chief Creative Officer Mick Mahoney, Martha Riley & Joao Linneu will help to oversee the agency’s Art Direction across all clients, in addition to mentoring the agency’s growing creative team.
With the arrival of the Boots UK, Vodafone & Bulmers creative accounts, Mick has expanded his department’s craft and design offering by bringing on board Creative Directors with DNA deeply rooted in Art Direction.
Martha Riley, formerly of BBH, will oversee creative on a number of accounts, bringing with her over 15 years of experience across some of Britain’s most loved brands including Waitrose, The Guardian, Dulux & Virgin. Riley has received several awards throughout her career working across these accounts from the likes of Cannes, D&AD & The British Arrows.
Also joining as Creative Director is Joao Linneeu who has been behind some of Nike’s most awarded campaigns in recent years including the ‘Popular Republic of the Corinthians’, and Leica’s famed ‘100 Years’ film in celebration of the brand’s anniversary. Previously, Joao has overseen the Art Direction across large agency networks including TBWA, JWT, AlmapBBDO & Saatchi where he worked across global clients including Nike, VW, Honda, Lux, Knorr, Leica & Pepsi, his impressive awards track record includes 25+ Cannes Lions, 4 D&AD Yellow Pencils, 16 The One Show, 15 Clios and 1 Golden Effie.
