Brian Jensen, Chief Strategy Officer, OgilvyOne UK. He oversees the strategic and data practices within the agency.
Most recently, global brand strategy lead for the foods and laundry Unilever business. Previously, he co-founded and led strategy for the 12th Floor for British Airways during which they were one of the most awarded accounts in the network. Before Ogilvy, he was Principal strategist and Head of creative, at Agency.com London.
In his career he has been a writer, creative director, information architect, brand strategist and planner. His clients have included General Motors, Mirage Resorts, Sony, Blockbuster, British Airways, BT, Daimler Chrysler, eyestorm, BP, Dulux, Hewlett-Packard and many more
Brian began working in marketing communications in San Francisco in 1994 at Hal Riney & Partners helping to create the first online advertising and websites for General Motors, Mirage Resorts and others. In 1996, he joined Organic, Inc. in San Francisco as their first information architect, developing the role and methodologies whilst also leading creative teams on branding, advertising and interactive projects.
He moved to London in 1999 to start the creative department for Organic's London office. And joined Ogilvy in 2006.
In 2007 Brian was elected to the executive board of the creative industries charity D&AD
He sits on the Ogilvy UK board and is an advisory board member of the English National Opera.
He is deeply interested in music, visual culture and photography.
