Dan is Head of the Programme Management Office (PMO) at Ogilvy UK, driving the adoption of professional delivery and project management principles throughout the agency in order to create the environment for better work. Dan’s entrepreneurial background - beginning when he designed, built and sold his first commercial website at 13 years old - drives his passion and approach to thinking ahead from a commercial, creative and product sense for clients.
Since then, Dan’s worked in agencies in both North America and the UK, most recently as Managing Partner of Holler and Business Operations Director at Leo Burnett, where he worked on clients like McDonald's, Lurpak, UBS, Mercedes-Benz, and Red Bull in delivering work across integrated channels and structuring new-model teams for client requirements. He’s most proud of work like We All Make the Games for McDonald’s, which led to a Gold Effectiveness win for the impact it had on brand perception.
Dan joined Ogilvy in 2017 to not only develop the PMO proposition, but also to lead Delivery efforts across British Airways within a WPP team formed of some of the best and brightest across the business.
Dan believes that in a world where there are more creators than ever before, it’s essential that the ability to make must be central to a modern agency, and that a focus on professionalising delivery leads to better experiences for clients and our talent both.
When Dan’s not working, he’s playing golf, travelling, or tinkering with new technology and trends – he is, and will always be, a geek at heart.
