Jai
Kotecha

Jai has over  fifteen years’ experience in digital and marcomms, having worked with industry-leading clients and agencies in Sydney and London.
 
After completing his post graduate diploma Jai began his career in events and sponsorship within the finance sector,. Then joined Australia’s largest telecommunications company, Telstra, to work on its BigPond ISP brand. After returning to London, he moved agency side, specialising in earned media and reputation management.

Jai has as acted as managing director at social media agency Pass It On Media, Jai worked with a broad range of major clients including Warner Music, Amnesty International, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Ben & Jerry’s .

 Jai then moved on to be  Social Media Director at The Red Brick Road where he was brought in to set up the social media department,  key accounts included Tesco, Volkswagen commercial vehicle, Remy Martin, Experian, Magners, and Suzuki as well as expanding the agency’s social media and digital capabilities. 

More recently Jai joined be Ogilvy as Associate Director in October 2012  where he is heading up agencies pan European clients including  Unilever, Philips, British Airways, HSBC and SKODA.  Jai is now managing Partner running a team of 90 within the agency, in addition to leading a WPP Horizontal account  across various agencies. Jai’s remit includes paid media,  Influencer marketing, content and social across Ogilvy UK. Jai was appointed to be member of the UK board at Ogilvy in 2018.

Jai is an active member of the IAB and DMA Social Media council and has previously been involved with WOMMA UK. He has a keen interest in social media measurement and influencers.
