Mark is Chief Innovation Officer for Ogilvy & Mather London, responsible for the strategic direction of the agency and driving the digital innovation agenda. He runs some of the agency's key accounts such as Expedia, Coca-Cola and Kronenbourg and is a member of the management team.
Mark started his communications career at Proximity he spent three years working on a mix of automotive and telecoms brands on an integrated basis. His client’s included Panasonic, VW, and Yell. Mark then joined Claydon Heeley/Agency Republic where he was responsible for all digital and off-line passenger car marketing for Mercedes-Benz, as well as working with Invesco Perpetual.
Mark then left for the challenge of starting a digital agency - Ruby. As their first employee Mark helped the managing partner grow the agency from 3 to 23 fulltime staff within 3 years. Here Mark built his FMCG experience working extensively with Heineken and Glenfiddich, he also worked closely with their founding client Tesco.
Mark joined Ogilvy & Mather in 2012 from glue Isobar where he was a Group Account Director overseeing the Kellogg’s account across Europe as well as leading the Aviva, News International and Toyota digital accounts. Mark joined Ogilvy as Head of Digital and Managing Partner.
