Sam Williams-Thomas is CEO of OgilvyOne Business, Ogilvy’s specialist B2B unit, which was set up in 2014. Sam leads a team, based in London and in Shere, of 150 B2B specialists – the largest dedicated such team in the UK.
Prior to this role, Sam headed OgilvyOne London, arguably the UK’s leading Customer Engagement Agency. (They have been nominated Agency of the year for 4 out of the last 6 years).
Sam has worked at OgilvyOne for the past 12 years and has risen through the ranks. He originally joined to lead the BBC TV Licensing account, as well as BT, the largest UK Telco business, which he is still heavily involved with today, and helped them to successfully launch their BT Sport proposition in 2013.
Sam was appointed Client Service Director in 2006 and Managing Director in 2008. After four years running the London Agency, and overseeing record growth, as well as a record number of awards for creativity and effectiveness, he was promoted to CEO.
Sam lives in South London with his wife and three daughters. He loves all sport and with three daughters, it’s perhaps no surprise that netball and hockey feature high on the list.
