MAKING TK MAXX MATTER
TK Maxx tasked us with devising a festive campaign founded upon neighbourly love, in order to raise brand awareness and spread good will during the holiday season.
Using the insight that shy Brits wish to know their neighbours better, TK Maxx worked with Ogilvy PR on its pan-European, integrated Christmas campaign #LoveYourNeighbour. A warm, authentic way to make TK Maxx matter to both existing and new consumers alike.
The campaign offers an emotive portrayal of 21st century neighbourhoods - for better or for worse - and asks viewers to consider the people living in their own streets.
CAN MEETS DO
Kicking off with a national radio day, TK Maxx and Amanda spread the Love your Neighbour message far and wide asking people to get knocking. To bring this to life, we took Amanda to the doorsteps of Britain, surprising and delighting the nation and inspiring them to say hello to next door once more.
Supporting this, TK Maxx conducted a Facebook competition which offered people the chance to gift their entire street. As part of this Amanda visited a London street as the TK Maxx Christmas fairy, creating a heart-warming photo story and social video which delivered cut through and engagement during the busy Christmas season.
Delivering over 35 pieces of coverage including front page of the Daily Express, a full page inside as well as over 1,293,959 social impressions, Ogilvy PR highlighted the need for the nation to reconnect with their community over the festive period.
