Vodafone wanted to drive engagement with their business audience to increase their consideration for unified communications (i.e. integrating mobile, fixed line, cloud and hosting solutions). They needed a platform to help them achieve this outside of ongoing brand, marketing and sales activity.
The business community are always looking to the future for better, more efficient, more innovative ways of working. Vodafone, as a future-facing technology company, is perfectly placed to help their business customers achieve this.We knew that business customers looked online for support and inspiration and we qualified this as a key point of influence for Vodafone. We created ‘Your Ready Business’ as a unique content platform enabled by Vodafone. The platform allows the business audience to connect around key topics impacting their working life. We re-launched Vodafone's LinkedIn profile, created (and now manage) Twitter and Facebook accounts and set up a YouTube channel as a repository for video content.
We have also conducted thought leadership events around the concepts of innovation, technology and global working.
The Your Ready Business platform averages 30,000 views a month and social media now accounts for 50% of Vodafone UK Enterprise customer engagement with 29k Twitter, 44k Linkedin followers and 20k Facebook likes. By integrating the platform into the sales journey, Your Ready Business content has been proven to have delivered over £14m in incremental sales. The platform was recently awarded IPA Social Works best practice content effectiveness in social media 2015 and has won two Business Marketing Association Awards of Excellence for Thought Leadership and Content Marketing.
